Hill climbing, also known as speed hill climbing, is a branch of motorsport in which drivers compete against the clock to complete an uphill course. It is one of the oldest forms of motorsport, since the first known hillclimb at La Turbie near Nice, France, took place in 1897. Festival of Speed’s Hill Climb will run in the afternoon sessions, both Saturday and Sunday. Expect to see some pretty special vehicles competing again the clock!
Time Attack Sprint

Time attack is a type of motorsport in which the racers compete for the best lap time. Each vehicle is timed through numerous circuits of the track. The racers make a preliminary circuit, then run the timed laps, and then finish with a cool-down lap. Watch some pretty special cars (and some pretty special drivers) compete for the king of the track for the first time at Festival of Speed.

We all expect some pretty tasty cars on display and this year we won’t disappoint. We’ve invited some pretty special clubs to display their best including clubs like the mighty AMG Car Club, the all-tech Nissan GT-R, Rotary Cars Club and more.If your car club wishes to participate, register now. Every approved vehicle will get a FREE adult day pass for the day of display.
Track Laps

Starting at 8am and running through the morning, the track lap sessions will see different categories of vehicles out there enjoying the race track in a parade style format. Expect to see vintage through to super cars running the short course in 10 minute sessions.Your chance to take your pride and joy around the race track.
